This article does raise some questions about the organisers of Kiss Of Love at the UoH, who as they claim could be left wing activists from Kerala. But on the whole, the message it intends to convey is null, void and distorted. If I just start with the fallacies in argumentation, that itself would eat pages. It has whataboutism, conclusions that does not emerge from premises, and in general is highly opinionated, starting from the title. The talks centered around this article, which have been going rounds against KoL, alleging them of fuelling the Islamophobic discourse is at the very best a touch-me-not argument. The participants decide the course of any movement. If the self-proclaimed wholesale owners of community opinion, would not even address the issue of a cultural fascism, physical violence and strength in numbers are the only things that distinguishes the right-wing Hindu from the Islamist discourses. And in places where their cousins were/are strong, their approach have always been drenched in cultural conservatism and theological fascism of sorts. It is in this context that they present a shoddy defence accusing left and liberals to be trapped in a Hindu majoritarian cultural vision. This as an argument is not even wrong as Wolfgang Pauli would have put it. roundtableindia.co.in/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7779%3Ared-is-a-darker-version-of-saffron&catid=119%3Afeature&Itemid=132
