This article from The Huffington Post is pretty bang on and sums up my ex appropriately. However, Im not entirely convinced narcissism is the best terminology. Being a self proclaimed narcissist, I take pride in being unjustly secure in myself and loving myself almost to a state of delusion. While the last statement might seem off putting, Ill be clear - it does not come at the cost of anyone else. I dont need someone else to feel bad so I can feel better about myself. Im usually just naturally and consistently in a state of cloud nine about myself. There are actually many resources that speak of healthy narcissism and honing it to deal with issues of self-worth and insecurity. On a lighter note, what do you get when you put two narcissists in a relationship? A double negative. ZING! hahaha ;)
