This article has done its job. Its created a debate that will make fans fill the seats and scream louder than ever before. That said, After this season I would like to see an empirical, appropriately weighted discussion that answers the suggested question, "Who has the most intimidating stadium in the country". Clearly sound has to be a major factor--which in this article may have been the only or overwhelming factor. I think other issues really affect player sychy, like: tradition of excellence using only the last 5 years: Coaches record, average EOY rankings, number of All-Americans and pro prospects should be next; fan effect should be a combination polls collected with the exact same questions posited to random # of fans--same number of opposing and supporting fans. Lastly its probably worth choosing all games at there homecoming. This minimizes the rivalry effect and essentially says each school has chosen the home game they really expect to win...also ensures a best chance of crowd versus the stadium size. FYI I have been in half of the stadiums in the top 20 and I disagree with the rankings as well.
