This article is full of some very important info re: vaccinations for pets. Last I read they now have a non-adjuvant rabies vaccine (which contains only the dead rabies virus, no harmful immune system boosters) available for cats but not yet for dogs. We must be careful what we inject into our four legged friends. One of my dogs (being a rescue) received many (if not all) of the required vaccines twice. He has now tested positive for elevated mercury, aluminum and other toxic heavy metals. As a result of these poisons, he is hypothyroid, has severe allergies, urinary incontinence, twitching/jerking, lethargy and exercise intolerance. I will start him on a chelation program and hope he can recover in a few months. Rescue groups do amazing work and, when its not known whether an animal has been vaccinated or not, I understand that they feel they must give every vaccine. But I am glad to read in this article that, just like human vaccinations, attention is starting to be paid to the presence of toxins in these vaccines and the horrific effects they can have on the immune system.
