This article is very well written. It lays bare an invisible tool belt granted to certain people in society, that is rarely noticed by those equipped with it as anything but normal. Understanding these social dimensions has a lot of fruit for a voluntaryist to munch on. Its been remarked many times how many white young men are in the liberty movement, and while I see more women joining in and speaking out everyday, I had always assumed it was simply because white men had fewer social ills working against them to combat, so that they could focus on things many others could not. Seeing the other side of this concept is intriguing to me. It lays bare that such an idea could hold such an unintended bias. Acknowledging these factors really helps me understand these invisible social temperaments better.
