This article really hit close to home as religion and faith have always been a big part of my life, by choice. With so much going on in politics, religions ever expanding and the increase in agnosticism.. I would love to hear anyones thoughts that may feel up for discussion and for anyone else, I dont intend to cause a debate or mean any disrespect regarding personal beliefs. I am a spiritual person and am moved by the idea of religion as a whole, knowing its potential to unite people and bring about a certain inner happiness and belief. One specific quote in this article that I was particularly drawn to and struggle longing for the same: I long for a world where we dont have to choose between our individual freedom and the collective strength provided by our religion. Along with, Is there a way to push society toward gender equality without having to lose love, community, faith in a better future and strength in numbers?
