This article says; Druids have been regarded indulgently as a curious remnant of Britain’s ancient past, a bunch of eccentrics who annually dress up in strange robes at Stonehenge to celebrate the summer solstice. Did you get that? A curious remnant. Bunch of eccentrics. Now try saying that about any other established belief system and youd find yourself up on charges. But the press can say it about Druidism because it appears that the public perception has gone from being one of curiosity about a secretive group of people who gathered at the stones for a ceremony before disappearing into the mists, to the realm of the pantomime clowns, nothing more than a quaint act of outdoor theatre... And who are the people that represent Druidry today?
