This attitude regarding taxes, is as naive as you can get. Lets apply this algorithm to baking a cake, not accurate as actual ingredients for a cake but sufficient for this example 100 gram cake = 34 grams milk 10 grams flour 26 grams cake mix, and 30 grams other (salt, sugar etc) Now, that comes out (purposely) to 34% milk, 10% flour, 26% cake mix, 30% other (salt, sugar, yeast etc)! Hmmm, not sweet enough, lets add 10 grams sugar, and over the years add 10 grams flour, 26 grams more cake mix and 30 more grams other stuff. What do you have, a bloated cake (government) with the same amount of milk, and more of everything else, so the PERCENTAGE of milk, goes to 17%! The percentages PERCENTAGES!!!!! . Percentages people. The government has taxed EVERYTHING, nearly to death, and this jackass SOLUTION, is to TAX MORE! How does that help YOU, in your daily lives? Hes not advocating LOWERING your taxes! Hes advocating lowering your PERCENTAGE!! So it wont make a hill of beans to YOU, except that all corporate taxes, are paid by the CONSUMER, through higher prices! Do these mindblowing morons ever say they want to increase 1 tax so you can LOWER another one? No, not at all. Hes relying on your inability to do math! This Independent is just another leftist who knows he wont be electable as a democrat, so dont be fooled. And if you arent fooled, then they havent done enough in dumbing down our educational system so just wait!
