This beautiful, expressive, and playful Pink Amazon River dolphin was photographed in the Rio Negro River by French tourist Michel Watson. Pink dolphins are in serious trouble, due to human indifference to their welfare and habitat. They are killed by fisherman and used as bait, run over by boats and killed, drown in fishing nets, and fall victim to polluted waters and habitat loss. They need to be rescued and protected before they are all gone, and this can only happen if the people there stand up for the Pink dolphins and stop the slaughter.
