This behavior is wrong. It is offensive, calloused, and something I diametrically oppose. When any organization does something I feel hurtful, stupid, backwards, whatever, I try to contact them and demand correction. This will be no exception. That being said, I can appreciate the lawsuit against the proposed war memorial in the same community as it is an unfair representation of the armed forces. But thats apples and oranges. A family memorializing their son is a far cry from a government institution respecting an established religion.
