This big beautiful female Red-tailed Hawk was grounded in Concord, Ontario, Canada due to someone who thought it would be fun to shoot her with a pellet gun (got her through one of the wings). She was picked up from the road by some caring individuals and eventually made her way to the Toronto Wildlife Centre. After almost 2 months at the centre which included some minor surgery, she was released back into the wild on December 30th.
