This big fawn boy is Zeus. Hes about 80 pounds, 7 or 8 years old, heartworm negative, healthy and easy to live with. He came to ABR in the summer as an owner surrender and currently lives with his foster mom, an infant and a Yorkie. He loves them all. Zeus was probably kept outside before he came to ABR, and it took him a little time to settle in to living in a house, having toys, a fur friend and someone to attend to his needs. He has accomplished this task brilliantly. He has very good overall manners, is leash trained, house trained and is not destructive when left at home. Zeus takes his leash in his mouth to take himself for a walk when he sees his leash. This big guy has a wonderful personality; he loves kids, gets along with big and small dogs, but not cats. He really needs a loving family to play, snuggle and walk with. Guys like Zeus have experienced a bit of life and appreciate when humans trust them as family members. They return that trust with love and loyalty.
