This big fellow brought an interesting story with him as he visited Riverview Dog Park for the first time. He was shot three times in Harrisville Pa and left to die on the side of the road. People actually drove by him for a couple of days before a road crew discovered he was alive. The bullets are still in him and the family that fostered him as he recovered wound up adopting him. Calls to mind a great Springsteen song. Seen a man standing over a dead dog lying by the highway in a ditch. Hes looking down kind of puzzled poking that dog with a stick. Got his car door flung open hes standing out on highway 31 like if he stood there long enough that dog would get up and run. Thankfully this guy got up eventually with the help of some good people that stand opposed to the kind of animal that would shoot a dog three times and leave him in a ditch to die.
