This bites. My G: drive, which is one of two card readers on the same floppy drive unit on my computer just vanished last week. Its the SD reader, which was working when I added a couple photos to fb last week. But after removing the card - using the Eject command - the drive letter itself, which is normally always present, has vanished. When I plug in the card, nothing shows up. The card is fine since its still working perfectly in the camera. To irritating things more, I have another card reader on an external drive toaster. That has two hard drives in it that are working fine. It also shows three card readers as drives, one of which is a combined SD/MMC socket. Putting the SD card in there also does not work, and it used to. And yes, Ive tried turning it off and on again. Both with and without the card in place. G: does not reappear. And people wonder why I hate computers.
