This black and white is not far from the truth ... read my 44-page report available for free at philanthropyandphilosophy ... we are not the greatest country in the world and I am not sure where that idea came from ... probably from the top 1%. You get to the top of the mountain by stepping on people along the way and that is how our largest companies got to where they are today. Stop supporting vulture capitalist companies like Amazon, Apple, Starbucks, Philip Morris, McDonalds, CVS, Walmart and Nike. Those eight companies are now worth more than $1.5 TRILLION combined on the stock exchange. I will type that figure again ... $1.5 TRILLION dollars ... $1,500,000,000,000 ... yes ... 15 with 11 zeroes tacked on. Most of that $1.5 trillion in stock is owned by millionaire and billionaire shareholders and it excludes dividends that were paid out. Amazon warehouse workers treated like garbage for $10 an hour ... Apple assembly line workers in Asia treated like cattle for $3 an hour ... Starbucks coffee bean pickers ... $4 a day ... CVS kicking cashiers to the street and replacing them with check out kiosks ... Walmart shareholders $280 Billion ... Walmart employees on food stamps ... Kevin Durant contract with Nike $300,000,000 ... 100,000 Indonesia Nike sweatshop workers $4 a day. Philip Morris is in an industry killing 5,000,000 people a year ... mainly the naive and uneducated in third world countries who are manipulated by marketing campaigns. 180,000,000 children in China exposed to second hand smoke. Ten percent of the 5,000,000 deaths are from second-hand smoke. McDonalds shareholders $90 billion dollars ... employees get minimum wage. Stop supporting vulture capitalism! Stop supporting vulture capitalism! Stop supporting vulture capitalism!
