This blog series, An Uneven Scale, will address the ethos of many North American social justice movements and in particular how western evangelicalism has been deeply stained by colonialism and therefor intrinsically affects how we approach justice work. In order for us to truly live humbly and act justly and love mercy, we must be willing to put ourselves in front of the jury of history. We must cross-examine our assumptions and expose our willful ignorance so that we can rebuild a new approach.
