This boy speaks the truth! Racial profiling and racial - TopicsExpress

This boy speaks the truth! Racial profiling and racial discrimination happens every day and nobody really bats and eye lid.. that doesnt make it any less wrong. The reason this whole Ferguson thing is so big is because those involved were from two different races and the boy was unarmed so it was in the news and people jump on the band waggon. As if these things havent been happening everyday and all year round. As if people arent defined by their skin colour all year round. As if people dont automatically assume that every guy whos black is a thug or something along those lines. Protesting and things isnt going to change things, its isnt going to change peoples mindsets and their outlooks. If we want the world to change we need to start changing it but not by violence. We need more men like this man who are wise and clued up and understand that not everyone is racist the same as not everyone is honest or good or kind, the list goes on. People need to stop trying to fit other people into boxes. Stop trying to define someone based on superficial things and things that are only skin deep such as skin colour. You should judge people and define them based on who they really are as an individual. Just because black people no longer have to sit in coloured people section of the bus or because they are no longer treated as slaves doesnt mean that racism is extinct, it just means we as a community and as a world have moved forward slightly and not nearly as much as we should have by now. Stop defining people based on their skin colour start defining them on their actions, the words they speak and the person they are as a whole. Being an wanker isnt selective to certain type of people. If your a wanker your a wanker its really that simple!
