This brought back so many memories. I learned an awful lot of guitar playing in church, first at Blessed Sacrament and then St. James and some of those church groups really cooked. Joy is Like the Rain and Theyll Know We Are Christians...5:30 Mass on Saturday night. Seeing people I thought of as being all grown up playing those acoustic guitars at church was so powerful. They probably werent much over 17 or 18 years old but they were heroes to me. Then as we got older it was our turn. Im leaving lots of names out but God bless Diane and JK, and everybody else that was part of those seventies guitar Masses. I miss that tonight.
