This brought me to literal tears. I remember a day several years ago when my tires blew 2 hours from home. I was a single mom with $7 in my bank account. I had to hide by the side of the building while crying as I contemplated whether I was going to write a bad check or… I didnt have an or. My only hope was that I could borrow the money to cover the check before it was cashed. As I went to pay, the owner waved me away saying the tires were on him.
