This came out last month, in time for Hannukah, and I would have posted it if Id known about it... but I just stumbled upon the video tonight. So if you dont want to think of it as a month late, think of it as being 11 months early... Four things you have to know: 1) The Maccabeats are a talented Orthodox Jewish male choral group who mostly do parodies of popular songs, often with a religious message. 2) Neis is the Hebrew word for miracle... Hannukah is a celebration of the miracle that occured when the Maccabees were reclaiming the Temple in Jerusalem, and their lamps stayed lit for eight days despite having run out of oil. 3) If you know how Hannukah is traditionally celebrated, this is hilarious, but its still funny even if you dont. 4) Meghan Trainors song All About the Bass has been EVERYWHERE for the last few months.
