Why not spend your money on something useful like a contribution to Yes to Life or CANCERactive, or The Breast Cancer Haven (Leeds)haven (Leeds)? :)) Of course its your choice but a person who has gone through this (like she has) probaby realizes how much money is spent just for pink stuff like I realized that buying yellow ribbons for our troops back when Desert Storm and Desert Shield was really doing NOTHING constructive except making money for the people who made yellow ribbons! I was living in Orange County, CA during that time - ALL THE SHOPS ran OUT OF YELLOW RIBBON and the price of the ribbon TRIPLED! Better you CONTRIBUTE your money to something CONSTRUCTIVE even if its not to a cancer-related organization, do it IN THE NAME OF BREAST CANCER if you want to - get a little 50-cent PINK MARKER - make the shape of the PINK RIBBON on the check - memo it - then SEND IT...it still gets the message but THEN THE MONEY GOES TO WORK beyond any pink ribbon - pink pen or pin - pink wrist-watch or t-shirt and thats what its really all about now isnt it???
