This class made video where I played the part of an evil teacher was made with a group of sixth graders as a fun school year-ending project that took 2 months to complete back in 2009. Students took turns shooting the video and photo cameras as they all played parts in this crazy short story. The project was finally finished on the last day we had class before letting out for summer vacation. We all watched the video together and the kids loved how it came out. I gave each participating child their own DVD copy of the movie to take home inside of a plastic case. In fact the students were so thrilled with the way the movie looked that they all ran around using my Sharpies to sign each other’s cases with personal messages before the bell rang for dismissal. I’ve done this video assignment with many different groups through the years but this might be the version that came out the best.
