This close shot was captured as I sat waiting for deer to pass. She walked right up to me sitting in the field. Ive been shooting in the cove for 40 years and Im still amazed that the deer will walk right up to you if you are quiet and still. Deer on the corner was taken at the curve just before the back stretch parking. There were 6 bucks strolling along, traffic had come to a stand still and I was sitting in the grass. I took the picture because you could see many cars and people out enjoying the bucks and I captured the deer between me and the crowd. The deer didnt really notice me, they just strolled by. As Im starting to compile my best of shots for 2014 I stumbled on these two I took while in the Cove this summer, July. They started out as a HD photo but has been processes using an interactive art rendering software DAP which allows the artist to interact with the program as its rendering re-programmed sequences. It really peaks up the image. Ill add a couple more a little later.
