This comes as a surprise to whom? I frequently write/talk about unintended consequences. Granting citizenship via (executive) amnesty to 5 million already here is one thing & is bad enough. That such action will make our nation a GIANT GLOBAL MAGNET is a consequence thats wholly foreseeable. The poor in America (current citizens, that is) and the size of our permanent welfare-dependent class is going to balloon over the next 10 years in ways we cannot currently imagine.
