This comes from Knox: does he have a valid point.. Firstly Im a born and bred kiwi that supports the black caps, and most teams playing against Australian sporting teams. People who are saying crack down on sledging are contributing to why life is so politically correct these days. Its been a part of the sport since its infancy. The only reason its being noticed more is because of stump microphones and more cameras. Theres nothing wrong with sledging. Id even suggest most of these people complaining havent played sports at a competitive enough level to appreciate sledging. Anybody read the article about du Plessis getting sledged by the black caps yesterday? He even went as far to say its made him a better player. Sledging is not going to result in a fight on a cricket field as some delusional people have alluded to. Get over it and focus on the real issues
