This coming General Conference is the first one in which talks will be given live in languages other than English. But I just ran across a June 15, 1989 memo from Pres. Benson and his counselors laying out the procedure for speakers who are proficient in another language to pre-record their talks in that language and have them simultaneously broadcast with the English version. I dont know how often this was done. Anyone know anything about it?
