This coming Thursday, June 5th, we are celebrating a very special day. It is the 42nd year anniversary of our monastery. To honor this special day, we will celebrate a special Divine Liturgy at our outdoor shrine mid-morning, to give thanks to our Lord for having blessed us and allowed us to find a home in such splendid surroundings, where we live our lives truly in the midst of His glorious Creation. Please pray with us and be with us in spirit as we chant: O Lord, observing today the memory of the foundation of this holy monastery, we glorify and entreat you, the Giver of holiness and wisdom, to sanctify us through the prayers of the Mother of God, and all the Saints, O all-powerful and gracious Lord. Let us all re-dedicate ourselves today. Despise the fruit of the evil tree, and live the life of the new Creation. For the sake of this new life, remember to put aside the old. Let us all be re-dedicated and honor this special day. O all-holy Mother of God, You became the Living Tabernacle of the Most High God. Protect and intercede for those who turn to You with trust. Preserve this holy monastery from all evil, danger and harm.
