This coming week, let us all remember what Christmas is truly about and, at this time, let us put aside our differences, in order to give back to others, to recognise the good in the world and to remember those less fortunate and who are deserving of our attention. At this time, we also remember our Defence Force and Emergency Responder men and women who cannot be home for Christmas; may they and their families find peace, happiness, warmth and comfort during this time....and may they all come home soon and safely. We ask that you please look out for veterans in your area and ensure they are not alone this season; and that they have a warm and caring place to go to on Christmas day.
