This comment was just made on one of our posts. I do agree with her. So, pending what everyone else thinks, we will cchange this challenge ONE LAST TIME, to be started on September 1st. As a fellow cranio mom, I love this group and the whole idea behind it, but I feel the need to ask for a higher standard here. I agree with linking a level of awareness to every challenge as the main goal. However, I think it would be more effective if there were a memorable common action that linked each cranio challenge. Otherwise it will be mostly a bunch of people defining cranio to a camera...not a bad thing in itself, but I really think we can do better to make it more exciting. People wont remember what is said if there is nothing helping them to remember it. Yes, we can make it our own, but it would be nice to be unified in presenting something that is memorable for those not personally affected. I thought it might be fun to name a specific suture and find a creative way to show where on the skull it is located. Sharpie on a watermelon; shave, dye, or braid a section of hair; paint a happy face balloon; tape on a hooded sweatshirt...it leaves a lot of open options while still providing some continuity. Personally I would much rather watch something with visual reinforcement like that over and over again, and also be more likely to remember the shared info behind it. Just my two cents ;)
