This contribution is nothing but the expression of my views, beliefs and not necessary subjective. I could be wrong but the objective is to encourage our people to start being proactive, reacting to issues affecting us, that may, destroy the legacies of our past generations. We must learn to help ourselves; the needy, suffocating and strangulating town has a lot of extremely poor and helpless people parading the igbariam on hourly basis seeking financial help to buy just fifty naira bread and some of us comfortably and in front of them spend thousands of naira in drinks. While l will not cast the first stone because l am also an offender l challenge us to consider our poor brothers and sisters and at least ,give them enough money to buy nourishing food or buy it for them as some of them would rather, spend the money buying cigarettes. To those who have psychologically made Indian hemp part of their dairy living, I challenge our medical doctors and social welfare workers. The time is now .what good is it that the town has experienced and renowned professionals in the medical fields yet , our communities lack in their fields it is a challenging world and we are facing rather daunting situations that no one knows when the solution will come but before then ,we need to do our own part and help each other’s and also extremely ashamed of those--of- you, who had the capacity to help Igbariam citizens secure gainful employments or contracts and failed to do so. You must be ashamed of your selves, using, ’buying them drinks at beer parlors’’ to cover your failures and deficiencies. Some of you are arrogantly, lf not foolishly, selfish and you should be ashamed of yourselves. A great majority of you are retired and retuning back to the communities that you helped in strangulating with your self-centeredness. Anyhow, while don’t you stay in your house and enjoy your wealth, give your immediate family extended over sea trips and make a forest [no single tree makes a forest].some of you have a championed buying our people beer, fish and meat at the beer parlors just to socialize and bury your communal socio-economic contribution failures. Yes, our people would normally accept your drinks because we are vulnerable and forgiving, but those are not the solutions. it is your conscience, so deal with it . as you are dealing with your conscience, remember that l do not know everyone and it all about l C U but l don’t know U. so lf you believe that you should have been mentioned here for failing your communities, don’t worry, there is always a NEXT time, in god we trust…
