This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to create and produce digital art. The course will build skills in the following areas: digital drawing and painting techniques using a WACOM tablet – digital brush creation and manipulation – texture painting – colour theory – colour models and suitability – photo manipulation and realism – image file formats and purpose. Other skills include direct investigation and experimentation of techniques and materials. Art history and creative thinking techniques will be introduced allowing you to develop skills in exploration, visual literacy, analytical and conceptual skills and OHS in the digital realm.
