This cut, also know as a hanger steak, is definitely one of the tastiest filet style cuts you can acquire. It classically makes up up the famous bistro classic, Steak Frites which is an ultimate comfort food for me. (Especially when the Frites are cooked in duck fat!) If you cant find Onglet, try a flat iron steak. As tender as a filet Mignon, yet with infinitely more flavor and a fraction of the cost. I better stop talking about it now, otherwise there will be chefs with torches and pitchforks tearing down my back door at 3am because Ive said too much!
