This day in rock music history: 1982-- Ozzy Osbourne bit off a little more than he could chew during a concert in Des Moines, IA. A fan threw on stage what appeared to Ozzy to be a plastic or rubber bat. So, the former Black Sabbath singer picked it up and bit the head off. Unfortunately, it wasnt rubber at all. Ozzy had to be hospitalized and suffer through a painful series of rabies injections and cancel several concert dates while he recovered. https://youtube/watch?v=GeuW4Smf9PI
