This day was a mixed bag. Spent the morning and early afternoon with good friends/neighbors at the FBCSA Wolfson House annual crafts show and most of the evening/afternoon dealing with a very uncooperative mini van! Silly thing wouldnt start without a jump. Since this has been a chronic problem for about 6 weeks, took it BACK to Auto Zone for a diagnosis - Oh, did I mention that when we started the car the check engine light came on??? Anyway, Auto Zone was CRAZY busy...San Antonio Cars DONT like cold, rainy weather. The diagnostic showed the battery with a very low charge level, with the reasons as follows: possible missing or deffective Cerpitine cable; deffective battery, malfunctioning alternator. They wouldnt give me warranty credit on the battery without being giving it a full charge status, so I was at Auto Zone for about 2 hours total, including the time it took to charge the battery, to find out - praise the Lord - that the problem WAS the battery after all! 10 minutes later Im driving home with a new battery to the tune of $45.00!
