This developing into a perfect August, not too HOT, which should mean another GREAT Crush !! Which is why the Napa Valley is one of the truly great Vintage Grape growing regions of the WORLD. Years ago I was talking with Jim Barrett (Chateau Montelena) about the Napa Valley Vintages - he said the NV has 2 out every 3 years that very good ! where as France is excited if they get 1 in 4. Only bad weather the beginning of October could change all this, but now ..... WOW Cafe Sarafornia Breakfast specials - Pancakes or French Toast w/ Mixed Berry w/ a Chocolate sauce, or Caggiano Sardinian sausage with succotash & choice of eggs, lastly Potato Pancakes Lox w/ capers, tomatoes & sour cream Lunch Specials for this week are Mon-Tuesday Pulled Pork Sandwich $10, Thurs-Friday Shrimp Andouille Jambalaya $10. Cafe Sarafornia offers Craft Beers, & Calistoga Wines, right now we are serving Hindsight 12 Cabernet Sauvignon & Goat & Stars 12 Sauvignon Blanc (my doctors wine), we offer an 8 oz carafe for $9.50 or a 5oz glass for $7.50. Cafe Sarafornia also offers Bloody Marys, Muddy Marys (beer & Bloody Mary mix), Mimosas, Pomosas, champagne. We have four tables on the sidewalk, so do come and watch Calistoga & now the 2014 Crush go by. The Crush in the Napa Valley is reason for the valley, this is a wonderful & Special time. Cafe Sarafornia is rated a 4 by TripAdvisor, and composts & recycles every we can. Sometimes there are waiting times, but usually no more than 10-15 minutes.
