This documentary about Frida Karol last one hour and 26 minutes and for those who like her work and admire her turbulent life, it is worth watching, for it gives you a real view of a woman who was ahead of her time, in a culture and society which was extremely traditional about the role of women. She was one of the most important artist of her day, although her artistic and creative talent did not transcend like that of other artists, or like that of Diego Rivera, she was after all, an original who explored herself as a way to understand the complexities of the human mind, She was known and admired by a circle of friends and covered by the press. She sold more than a dozen of her works on two of her shows, one in Paris and the last one in Mexico before she passed away. She was to me, an annonimous well known artist during her life time. Someone whose talent was too ovious to be denied, but was not fully given the importance by those who make artists work become relevant to the Art World!
