This documentary was very good and basically reiterated what I already knew to be true about the imbalance of income, wealth, and resources in our country. Watch it if you would like an insightful and in depth summary regarding the history, present state, and potential future of our economy and the middle class from a person who has gained a pretty clear perspective and vantage point working from within our political and economic system. For those of you who dont know - Robert Reich is not a communist (as Bill OReilly labels him in the film), but even if he was, it wouldnt change the facts. At this point communism is just a word to me. Sincere altruistic motivations, efforts, and actions, with emphasis placed on personal responsibility are the only things that really make a change for the good and a difference for the better in societies, as in life. Labels are just scare tactics used to control the ignorant. Incidentally, Ann Coulter will be speaking at the University of MN tomorrow, April 8 at 7pm in Willey Hall. You know where to go if you want to ask her about her philosophy on race and economic equality, or if you just want to protest her lecture or her book. Her perspective is greatly informed by ignorance and privilege, which she proudly celebrates by being unbelievably cold and self righteousness while nurturing an insatiable lust for celebrity and fame through conflictual verbal debate spectacles disguised as journalism via the political commenter circuit, as well as through her books, which occupy the not so gray area between extreme classism and racism, and very extreme classism and racism. Like her contemporaries Bill OReilly, Shawn Hannity, Rush Limbaud, and Glenn Beck, she either chooses to be blind, or she actually is a heartless human being with no concept or understanding of compassion, empathy, social justice, or of a life experience offering little to no upward mobility as a result of economic class and race. She has a right to speak, but others have a right to a rebuttal. I really hope she gets permanent laryngitis and/or inoperable carpal tunnel one of these days. Im fairly certain the world would be a better place if she wasnt able to speak loudly or type;) https://youtube/watch?v=YCbAyk8aRxI
