This does happen, folks....Back in 1987, I raised funds to buy at auction, Matta-cow, a black and white Holstein, 2 very old ponies, Julio Obnoxious, a Barbados Ram, Heidi a crippled race horse, Jeffrey a lamb, and 3 goats. I saved them all from slaughter and they went to live on a friends ranch. These innocent horses will be sold by the pound, loaded into cow size trailers which means, they cannot raise their heads during the entire 1,500 mile journey, and finally slaughtered. Their meat is sold to other countries who have no problem with eating their pets. Please donate and share this.
