This dog case was different...the plaintiif was in the military and deployed three times. Her dog got passed around to different people who obviously didnt take care of the dog. No vet records, no shots, it was all matted and had puppies before the defendant had found the dog wandering in terrible shape. She took it to her vet and with love and care it was doing well. The plaintiff wanted her dog back. Usually if someone can prove that a dog is there, JJ will order it returned BUT in this case, JJ told the plaintiif off...she should never have gotten a dog knowing she would not be there to take care of it. I love JJ even more because she is an advocate for animals and says they deserve to be kept safe and loved. I agree!
