This dog fire thing is horrible and found quite distressing, strange why Dogs stir such emotion. I know there has been wide spread news about the money that’s been sent but I was more impressed with the local response. Little old lady taking one can of dog food cause it’s all she can afford and young teenagers who we might just walk on the other side of the street to avoid, whatever, going into the blazing building and rescuing them and holding them tight, calming them down, giving them a love. Faith, Humanity a bit restored. By the way, we are playing at Tom Martin’s excellent club “The Tower Of Song” tomorrow night, (14th. September) would be excellent to see you down there.
