This dog tore through tissue, bite inhibition? Minimal at best. This routine though, it looked practiced. Dogs usually dont get to this point without building to it. But some dogs can have enough triggers to snap at once. Without any proper management of bites...voila. There could, of course, be something medical, will this dog get the chance to be fully evaluated? I would love to know the training history of this dog, even as simple as what was the owners reponse when the puppy nipped. A dog that never learns to control their bites...this can be a result. If the child on the bike was a stressor for the dog, it took this long for the dog to react. That is not uncommon. We probably will never know the history of the dog.
