This drink is amazingly delicious. I poured some Zucca (specialitybrands/brands/zucca-liqueur) into a martini glass, added a homemade maraschino cherry and a few teaspoons worth of the now-cherry-infused maraska to the glass and, wow! To me Zucca already has cherry notes in it -but the cherry-infused maraska (which is a cherry liqour to begin with). The drink has a big hit of sweet cherry fruit up front and then fades to an herbal bitter finish while still holding on to a bit of the sweet for balance.
