This drives me nuts that slashing of major iconic and unique Radio National programs such as Hindsight, Encounter, 360, Poetica, Into the Music and Bush Telegraph is only reported by the ABC itself as changes -- ie There will also be changes to ABC Local, Radio National and ABC Classic FM programming and an overhaul of ABC TVs sports coverage. No wonder Radio National doesnt have the reach (and hence support) it deserves when even the ABC news can barely be bothered mentioning it. (So many people dont even know it exists!) Please let your RN type friends know that this has happened, and get them to phone their federal politicians and complain, loudly.
