This dual-working couple in Palo Alto is looking for a full time nanny to help with care of their 1 year old son. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Responsibilities include engaging their child in age-appropriate activities, taking him on play dates with his cousin who lives locally, and preparing his food. In addition the family would like the nanny to assist with child related clean up, and running occasional errands. Their ideal nanny has a Bachelor’s degree and is interested in keeping up with research regarding child development and psychology. The nanny should be comfortable with attachment parenting style and look for a collaborative relationship with the parents. Their son is high energy, and enjoys playing in the water and sand, petting neighborhood dogs, being read to, playing hide-and-seek, and playing with the family’s pet cats. This family has recently moved from Los Angeles to the Bay Area. This position pays $18 – $25 depending on experience.
