This email below from my Dear Uncle Freddy Frederick Serovy pretty much sums it up.. Thank you for being a rock in my life, for supporting my dreams, being there for me no matter if it was a four am drive to school or the airport from your house, or for always making me laugh, to being my foster Dad when things where rough, and from the very beginning for picking up my mom and dad and I and taking us to spend weeks on end at your country home oasis with Melissa Serovy, Judy VanDoren-Serovy, and Daniel Serovy and Jennifer Serovy! You introduced me to nature, and helped me get into a great school where I met my long time mentor and teacher Nicole Yeftich. Finally, the last conversation I had with you, I called you a few months ago scared about changing my job to go back to school and try my luck at what I really want in life. I knew youd tell me how short life is and that happiness is the most important, so I went for it. Creative, intelligent, honest and loving. Your journey through this life has touched us all and made being just better better. I love and miss you, and though I know you were not a religious man, Goober and Dad are happy to see you on the other side. It feels like you are still with us, because you are.
