This evening Collins Bailey, Tom DeSabla and I attended the Charles County Commissioners public hearing on raising property taxes. After their credibility was called into question, after DUIs and so on, they quickly shut the public comment part down. This immaturity is exactly why the current BOCC in Charles County should not be re-elected. In these hard economic times, the Charles County BOCC wants to raise taxes in a county the property taxes are one of the highest in the state of Maryland. In June and November, vote out bad policy and bad policy makers. #PeopleOverPolitics #PeopleFirst
