This evening I had one of the greatest experiences while working at Hovenweep. I was sitting on the back porch when I heard visitors on the trail after sunset. I never did find them, but upon returning to the housing area; I was silently buzzed by not one, but four owls. Sorry for the grainy video, but it was the best I could do in my excitement.
