This evening, I just finished my first choir class at the Professional Teachers Union (PTU) as the conductor. This is my new trial to upgrade my music talent. This cannot be successful with backup: the PTU staff, the PTU choir conductor, my teacher Leung Sir, the choir committee, and my fellow members, as well as the trust from the new class members. Of course we need the pianist to help us make the singing go smooth. i.e.: TEAM WORK makes success, not a proud individual (younger generation usually thinks so). As the first lesson, after identifying the members for different sections: soprano, alto, etc., we practice DO RE MI of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and the Chinese pop kungfu song MEN HAS TO BE STRONG 男兒當自強. For the latter, I used the guitar to accompany the piano.
