This evening I was at urgent care at the hospital with my kids. They had called in a prescription to Walgreens pharmacy for me. We were still waiting for our release when I received the phone call from Walgreens. They were reaching out to me to let me know that the prescription for my children who were being treated at urgent care was already ready. They asked if I was aware that they closed in 15 minutes, I believe they were trying to anticipate the fact that my children probably needed the medicine they had been prescribed. The simple act of that phone call give me time to find somebody to go to Walgreens pharmacy before they were closed. It was not something they HAD to do and it was not something most pharmacies would do. It was above and beyond service, thank you, Walgreens! pharmacy.
