This evening V55P1 (Modbury Fire Station) and V26P1 (Kingsbridge) - TopicsExpress

This evening V55P1 (Modbury Fire Station) and V26P1 (Kingsbridge) were called to a rural property near Modbury where a carbon monoxide alarm had sounded and the occupant had started to suffer a headache. The resident called the NHS helpline and they sent a paramedic and asked for our assistance. Crews from Modbury wearing breathing apparatus used Kingsbridges gas monitor to check the property and isolated an oil fired heater. The crews also had charged hoses prepared as carbon monoxide is explosive. This is a brilliant example of a carbon monoxide doing its job and saving a life!!!
